National Housing Bank is an apex level institution for housing finance. The institute actually came into existence after the decision made by honourable Pime Minister of India while presenting the Union Budget for 1987-88. The bank was established under the Government of India under National Housing policy. The bank was founded in the year 1988 under the Nationla Housing Bank Act, 1987. The bank is wholly owned by Reserve Bank of India. The head office of the bank is located at New Delhi. One of the major objective of the bank is to encourage public agencies to emerge as facilitators.

Job Profile:

National Housing Bank requires highly professionals and experienced individuals for filling up the vacant positions of Manager and Deputy Manager. The bank requires to hire eligible candidates on the specified positions of Manager and Deputy Manager to address the higher level of activities.

Eligibility:

The maximum age limit set for the post of Manager (MMGS II) is 35 years as on 1 January 2011. Candidates are required to have age less than the prescribed maximum age limit set for the post of Deputy Manager i.e. 30 years as on 1 January 2011. Those candidates, who are having age more than the prescribed age limit, should not apply for the post as their applications will be cancelled straightaway.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should possess a first class Graduation degree or Post Graduation degree from any recognized institute or university. The Graduation or Post Graduation degree is required to be done in Finance/Mathematics/Economics/Statistics/Information Technology/Commerce/Science. Candidates should have passed Graduation or Post Graduation degree with atleast 55% marks in aggregate. Those candidates, who possess CAIIB as additional qualification, will get preference over others.

Manager: Only 10 posts are available.
Deputy Manager: Only 6 posts are available.

Pay Scale:

Manager: Consolidated salary of Rs. 25700-31500 per month.
Deputy Manager: Consolidated salary of Rs. 19400-28100 per month.

Application Fee:

For General and OBC categories candidates, the application fee including postal charges is Rs. 500 for each post. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories, will have to submit an application fee of Rs. 100 for each post. The requisite application fee must be paid by means of a Bank Pay Order or Bank Draft issued by a Scheduled Commercial Bank payable at Delhi in favour of NATIONAL HOUSING BANK. Payment of application fee through any other means will not be accepted.

Selection Committee:

Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Group Discussion or Interview Test. The group discussion or interview will be held at Delhi only. The bank reserves the right of calling the selected number of candidates for the interview.

The application form must be duly signed with passport size photograph affixed on the appropriate place. The attested copies of certificates and the demand draft of requisite application fee are also need to be sent in accordance with the application.
