Junior Engineer, Border Road Organisation
Border Road Organisation is premier company working towards construction of roads, highways, permanent bridges, airfields and other related civil works. It is a reputed company and is into existence since 1950s. It is the largest single construction company in India. The organisation has taken and successfully executes some of the major projects of the country. The headquarters of the organisation is located at New Delhi. Lt. Gen. M.C. Badhani is the cuurent Director General of the organization. The organization was formed on May 7, 1960 under the Government of India.
Job Profile:
Candidates are invited to apply for filling up the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) in General Reserve Engineer Force, Border Road Organisation. Application are invited from Male Indian citizens, who also meets with all the eligibility conditions set for the specified post.
Eligibility:
Candidates are required to have age more than the prescribed minimum age limit set for the post i.e. 18 years. Also, the interested candidates are required to have age less than 27 years (the prescribed maximum age limit). Candidates having age less than minimum age limit and more than 27 years, are not eligible to apply for the respective post. Reservation in the upper age limit set for the post is provided to all the reserved categories candidates.
Educational Qualification:
Three years diploma or licentiateship in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institute or university is required as the minimum educational qualification for applying on the post of Junior Engineer in Border Road Organisation. Candidates possessing Diploma in Civil Engineering from a college of Military Engineering, are also eligible for the specified post.
No. of posts: Total 603 posts are available.
For SC category candidates: Only 14 posts are available.
For ST category candidates: Only 63 posts are available.
For OBC category candidates: Only 526 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get a prescribed amount of salary under Pay Band-II i.e. Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
Application Fee:
No application fee is to be paid by the interested candidates for applying on the specified position of Junior Engineer in General Reserve Engineer Force, Border Road Organisation.
Selection Committee:
The final call on the selection of eligible candidates will be made strictly on the basis of their performance in the personal interview test against Selection Committee. So, candidates are required to perform exceptionall well at the time of personal interview test for ensuring their selection on the specified post of Junior Engineer.
