M.G. Science Institute College is the educational temple of knowledge and is been functioning for about six decades. This college was established in the year 1946 and is affiliated to Gujarat University and also has the grant in aid status.

Subjects Taught:

There are about ten subjects that are taught in the under graduate level and two subjects in the Post Graduate level. Research facilities are made available in three subjects. The highest numbers of degree courses in Science that are available are taught in this college.

The faculty at M.G. Science Institute College has twenty two doctorate degree holders .The Institute is ranked as one of the best in total graduate institutions in Ahmedabad. Research work in PhD is also one of the main attractions of M.G. Science College. B.Sc is a graduation process of three years where the specializations can be done in any of these. Biochemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Electronics, Geology, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, Statistics and Zoology are the graduation courses that are offered in this Institute.

M.Sc is the next step of graduation called post graduation and is a two year degree course. Apart from these there are Vocational courses and Self finance courses.
