Nagarjuna University was started in the year 1976 with only 10 post-graduate courses for the students. The university is consistently improving and increasing its strength in the various fields of education. Nagarjuna University is located between the Vijayawada and Guntur cities in Andhra Pradesh. This university is situated near the Kolkata and Chennai National Highway (NH-5). The university is spread over an area of 293 acres of land space. The university provides state of art library, laboratories and internet facility to its students.

Admission Procedure:

The university conducts a written entrance test to give opportunities to take admission in this university. This exam is conducted in different centers of this university and is conducted in the month of May every year. The candidates have to secure high marks in this exam to get their course of interest.

The university provides facilities to prepare for the exams like TOFEL, IELTS & GRE by distributing books, Cassettes, and CDS to its students. The university also provides on campus placement facilities to its successful students in various national and multinational companies.
