Eligibility Criteria

Students who have completed higher secondary level course in Science or Agriculture can apply for the entrance exam. The main criteria to be fulfilled for writing this entrance are an experience of atleast one season of pan-operation. They should have experience in a vacuum pan sugar factory which should be along with nomination. The maximum age limit for applying for this exam will be 35 years.

How to apply?

Application forms for this exam can be obtained from the National Sugar Institute (NSI), Kalianpur, by payment of Rs.600/- (Rs.400/- for SC / ST candidates) in cash.  To get the same via post, one should give the application fee as money order that is payable to Director, National Sugar Institute, Kanpur. The students can also apply via online mode as well. Application must be sent to The Director, National Sugar Institute, Kalianpur, Kanpur-208 017, Uttar Pradesh before the last date.

How to fill the Form?

The students should pay special attention while filling the admission form to avoid even the silly mistakes that may be encountered. All the necessary documents should be kept ready before filling up the form so as to copy out the correct information into the form without any errors. The eligibility details and also the personal details have to be entered in the right positions accurately. The photograph must be affixed in the correct position as mentioned in the instruction bulletin. The photograph should be the latest one as well. The signature of the aspirant has to be correctly put in the exact spaces as mentioned. One should not do any scribbling or over writing in the form as the board may reject the application.

Study Plan
