National Sugar Institute (NSI) conducts Post Graduate Diploma Course of Associate ship of NSI (ANSI) in Sugar Technology. The admittance to this 2 and ½ year course will be on merit basis of the entrance examination conducted by NSI.
Structure of National Sugar Institute (NSI) A.N.S.I. (Sugar Technology) Course Entrance Exam
The entrance exam will comprise of the basic questions from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The test is aimed at analyzing the basic knowledge of the candidates in these core subject areas.. Question paper will be bilingual i.e. questions would be printed both in Hindi and English. The candidates will have the choice to answer the questions in either of the desired language.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates those who have done B.Sc. with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects are eligible to apply for the A.N.S.I. (Sugar Technology) Course Entrance Exam conducted by National Sugar Institute. Candidates with a degree in Chemical Engineering may also apply for the same. They should also secure 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying programme (40% for backward category candidates). Final year appearing candidates can also apply.
How to Apply?
Application forms can be obtained from the National Sugar Institute (NSI), Kalianpur, by making a payment of Rs.600/- (Rs.400/- for SC / ST candidates) in cash. To acquire the same by post, one should remit the application fee in the form of money order payable to Director, National Sugar Institute, Kanpur. The candidates can also apply for the exam via online mode. Application completed in all respects in prescribed forms along with the attested copies of certificates should be sent to The Director, National Sugar Institute, Kalianpur, Kanpur-208 017, Uttar Pradesh before the cut off date.
How to fill the Form?
The candidates have to fill the form very cautiously without committing a single mistake. All the columns have to be entered with the proper data. Take proper care that the name, DOB, and other details furnished in the form matches with that in the HSC certificate. While sending the application form, the envelope should be marked ‘Admission’ and the name and postal address should be given in capital letters. Furthermore, the candidates should make special heading and confirm that the application form accompanied with the requite documents reaches the concerned address before the deadline.
