Eligibility Criterion

Candidates who have passed higher secondary examination from a recognized board are eligible for admission to under graduate courses. They are required to secure a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates should have studied English as one of their subjects in Higher Secondary education. Candidates belonging to reserved categories can avail the relaxations as per the norms issued by Government of India.

Candidates who have completed B.Tech or B E or equivalent in the Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Information Technology/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering are eligible for M.Tech programmes offered by the University. Apart from this, candidates who have completed Master of Science in Applied Physics with specialization in Electronics are also eligible. Candidates are required to obtain at least 60 % marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam.

Admission Procedure for Engineering Courses in GNDU

Admission to Bachelor of Technology programmes is carried out on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in national level entrance exams such as AIEEE and Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the University. Candidates are required to obtain a minimum of 85 % marks in Common Entrance Test to be eligible for admission. Admission to M.Tech programmes is carried out on the basis of merit obtained by a candidate in the All India Entrance Test to be conducted by the University.
