Eligibility Requirements
Candidates having B.Sc degree with Chemistry/ Bioscience/Industrial Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biochemistry as one of the subjects can apply for this postgraduate diploma course. But such graduates should complete their degree from any University/College approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). Those who possess B.E degree in Chemical/Agricultural Engineering or B.Tech degree in Biotechnology can also apply for this course. The relevant engineering degree should be completed from any institute recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
Admission Procedure
Candidates who want to join this post graduate diploma course should first of all forward their application form to the concerned Institute. The application form can be purchased from the office of registrar or it can be downloaded from the official website of the Institute. Application fee can be paid either through demand draft or in cash as per the convenience of the candidate. Those who download the application form should pay the fee through only demand draft.
Application forms should be filled in English and sent along with attested copies of certificates, mark lists etc. Sponsored candidates should attach nomination form signed by the competent authority of concerned Sugar Factory/Distillery along with the form. The application form should be attached with a recent passport size photograph. Duly filled forms should reach the office of the concerned Institute before the stipulated date.
Candidates can get admission to Post Graduate Diploma course in Industrial Fermentation and Alcohol Technology according to their marks in qualifying examination. The competent authority of this institute will short list the applications based on the performance in qualifying examination. Short listed candidates can join the course on the date specified by the institute.
