The Institute of Pharmacy of Nirma University came into existence in the year 2003 and the institute was established with a view to promote excellence in the field of pharmaceutical education to prepare young men and women to meet the challenges in the areas of pharmaceutics like marketing, development, research and education.

Admission Procedure:

UG Course:

The intake capacity of the Institute of Pharmacy for Bachelor of Pharmacy course is 60 students per year and selection of students for this course is done based on Centralized Selection Procedure carried out by the Joint Admission Committee.

PG Course:

As far as M. Pharm course is concerned, the total intake capacity of the institution is 55 students, which is divided into 10 students for each branch, except for the branch drug discovery for which the intake capacity is 5 students per year. Admission of students to the M. Pharm course is based on valid GPAT Score.

Ph. D:

As far as admission procedure for Ph. D course is concerned, students are admitted based on their performance in the personal interview.

Institute Library:

Library at the institute of Pharmacy of Nirma University has a collection of more than 6000 volumes of books that are selectively chosen for reference and learning purpose. To keep the students updated about the trends in the field of pharmacy, the institute is subscribing for about 148 e-journals, 34 international periodicals and 68 printed national journals. The collection of books in the library includes resources pertaining to the research, training, learning and teaching requirements of the institute. The library offers wide range of services like reference and reading facilities, newspaper clipping, inter-library loan facility, current awareness services, photocopying services, circulation services, etc…
