Repco Bank Limited was established in the year 1969 by the Government of India for the rehabilitation of repatriates in Burma and Srilanka. Repco Bank operates under the control of Ministry of Home Affairs of Government of India and the bank has its areas of operation in the union territory of Pondicherry and in the southern part of India in states like Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Predesh.

Recruitment by Repco Bank:

Candidates are invited to apply for the position of Officer Scale – I in the Repco Bank.

Name of the position: Officer Scale I

Number of Vacancies: 45

Pay Scale: Rs.14500-25700, total emoluments inclusive of allowances at minimum scale at Chennai is Rs.23500. Approximate annual emoluments on cost of the company is Rs.4.22 lacs.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their graduation/post graduation in any discipline in first-class with not less than 60% of marks from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Other requirements: Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the states in which the bank has its operations. In addition, candidates should have completed their graduation from a regular college and candidates who have completed their graduation from Open University are not eligible to apply. Candidates should possess knowledge of computers.

Nationality: Only Indian citizens are permitted to apply for the post of Officer Scale - I

Age: The minimum age requirement is 21 years and maximum age limit is 30 years, which is relaxable to some years for reserved category candidates.

Application fee and postage:

Application fee applicable for general category candidates is 450 and for SC/ST candidates is Rs.350. The fee should be paid by means of Bank Demand Draft or Bank Pay order.

Selection Procedure:

The selection process includes written test, Group discussion and interview. The written test will be conducted online and it will have objective type questions.
