IBPS :- Institute of Banking Personal Selection Examination.

IBPS Specialist Officer examination :-

This examination is conducted for recruitment specialist areas like :-

-I.T Officer(Scale - I)
-Agriculture Field Officer(Scale - I)
-Rajbhasha Adhikari(Scale - I)
-Law Officer(Scale I)
-Technical Officer(Scale I)
-HR/Personnel Officer(Scale I)
-Marketing Officer(Scale I)
-I.T Officer(Scale II)
-Law Officer(Scale II)

These are specialist areas available in IBPS examination but the education qualification is differ from post to post.And candidates who are completed their graduate degree or post graduate degree may also eligible to apply for IBPS examination.

Age limits of these examinations :-

The candidate must have a minimum 20 years and maximum 35 years as on 1st December 2011 and relaxation is applicable to reserved categories.

But I.T Officer(Scale II) and Law Officer(Scale II) age limits should between minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years as on 01-12-2011.

Important dates of this examination :-

-Start date for Online Registration :- 30-12-11
-Last date for Online Registration :- 21-12-11
-Date of Written examination :- 11-03-12

IBPS conducts all 19 banks PO and Clerical And all exams
But in this 2012 years the exam for Po and Clerical is not declred yet.......

IBPS conducts exams as a single window service for selection in any bank. The score in this exam is used as a guideline by the individual banks when they select out of the pool of IBPS appeared candidates.

IBPS screens candidates for Probationary Officers, clerks and Special Officers. At present, no exam is under notification. However, the concept was to have two exams every year in each category, so that a steady stream of candidates with IBPS scores (valid for one year) would be available in the market.

Applications/ Information Technology/
Electronics/ Electronics &

Instrumentation.

OR
Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/
Electronics & Tele Communication/
Electronics & Communication/
Electronics & Instrumentation/
Computer Science/ Information
Technology/ Computer Applications
from a recognised University/ Institution

OR
Graduate from a recognized university
with DOEACC ‘B’ level.


Eligibility for the Technical Officer scale 1,

A Degree in Engineering in Civil/
Electrical/ Mechanical/ Production/
Metallurgy/ Electronics/ Electronics &
Telecommunication/ Computer Science/
Information Technology/ Textile/
Chemical etc./ B.Pharm.

The age limit for the above officers is minimum of 20 Years and maximum of 35 Years.

As you have not completed your degree in B.TECH,you are not eligible to apply for the IBPS exam.
