Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology was established in the year 1999 by Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati. The institute is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun and HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar. It works under the control of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas.

The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology offers the following undergraduate and postgraduate programmes:

The undergraduate courses (three years duration) available in the college are:

• BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)

• BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications).

The postgraduate courses (two years duration) available in the college are:

• M.Sc (Computer Science)

• MBA (Master of Business Administration) with specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, and International Business.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in any stream (with Mathematics) are eligible to apply for BCA and BBA.  Admission for the courses is made based on marks in the qualifying examination.

Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream are eligible to apply for M.Sc (Computer Science) and MBA courses. They must get qualified in the Uttarakhand Technical University Entrance Exam (UTUEE) to get admission for the postgraduate courses.
