P.M.B Gujarati Science College stands for Parikh Mailal Baldevdas Science College and the college has completed more than 55 years of its existence. Over these years of its existence the college has created a niche for itself in the educational scenario of Indore. The aim of the college is to offer not only quality education, but also to offer education at an affordable cost. The college is affiliated to Devi Ahilya University located at Indore.

Student intake capacity:

The college has the intake capacity of 30 students each for PG zoology and botany, 40 students each for chemistry and mathematics, 10 for physics and 15 for microbiology. As far as UG courses are concerned, for mathematics and biology the intake capacity is 100 each, 240 each for electronics and microbiology, 180 for computer science, 60 each for computer science hons., maint. and information technology and 210 students for biotechnology.

Career guidance & placement cell:

Recently, the college set up a career guidance and placement cell and it has been doing appreciable service for recruitment and career guidance of students thereby offering them a bright future. The students of the college has been recruited by some of the reputed companies like Bajaj auto, Nicholas Piramal, TCS, Infosys, IBM and Wipro. More than 40 students found placement in Infosys alone in the BPO and IT sector of the organization.
