Padmashree Dr. D Y Patil Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in the year 1997 in the city of Pune and is now ranked among the premiere engineering institutes of the country. The college is affiliated to the University of Pune.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility Criteria
The admission procedure starts only when a candidate has been successful in obtaining a rank in the entrance examination MH-CET though there is a provision ofa few seats for management quota.
The candidate should be at least 18 years old on the day of entrance test and should have an aggregate of 45% at the higher secondary level.
