Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Scheme was established in Kerala on 16 September 1956. The ESIC scheme provides certain benefits such as medical benefits, maternity benefit, disablement benefit, sickness benefit, funeral expenses, rehabilitation allowance, and vocational rehabilitation benefits to Employees.
The Kerala State has ESIC hospitals in seven centers in Kollam, Ernakulam and Thrissur Districts.

The selection of the post is through objective type written test only or written test and interview, based on the post.
