Association of Management Schools (AIMS) Test for Management Studies (ATMA) is organized with an objective to select eligible candidates to post graduate courses in management such as PGDM, PDBA, MBA, and MCM. It is possible for students to appear for this test either via online or offline /paper based model. Objective model questions from topics like analytical reasoning, verbal ability and quantitative ability will be asked for the test. A total of 180 questions need to be completed in 3 hours. Applications can be submitted online through the website of AIMS.

Exam Pattern for ATMA

AIMS Test for Management Studies (ATMA) is organized for candidates to get selected for post graduate courses in management offered by different universities or management colleges. The pattern of the written exam essentially follows an objective model. The exam includes a total of 180 questions which needs to be completed within 3 hours time limit. The pattern of the ATMA exam consist of the following sections –

  • Section 1 – Analytical Reasoning Skills
  • Section 2 – Quantitative skills I
  • Section 3 – Verbal Skills I
  • Section 4 - Quantitative skills II
  • Section 5 - Verbal Skills II
  • Section 6 - Analytical Reasoning Skills II

Each of the above mentioned sections comprise a total of 30 questions that must be completed within a time limit of 30 minutes. Candidates can take up either a paper based test or online based test according to their preference. Obtaining cut off marks in each session is necessary to qualify the test.

Application Procedure for ATMA

It is essential for candidates to follow an online application procedure for attending ATMA. Applications can be submitted through the official website of AIMS. Registration fee for attending the test is Rs. 1050/- . Candidates must deposit the required amount of fees before starting the online application process. There are different options specified for candidates to remit the application fees. The payment can be done via Credit/Debit card, Net banking, Bank Transfer, or Cash via FCC/Distributor. It is compulsory to mention applicants name, Date of birth, contact number and valid E mail ID correctly in the online fee payment slip. Once all the important details in the online application form are filled in, candidates can submit the application form. Candidates will receive a confirmation e-mail from ATMA detailing about the application ID and pass word for future logins. Applicants can login using this ID and password to take print out of the application form, admit card etc.
