The High Court of Delhi was set up on 31st October, 1966 under the Delhi High Court Act, 1966. Initially, the Delhi High Court applied its jurisdiction over the Himachal Pradesh and the Union Territory of Delhi till the enforcement of Himachal Pradesh Act 1970. When the High Court of Delhi was formed, it consisted of four Judges. At present, the Delhi High Court is sanctioned with 29 permanent Judges and 19 Additional Judges. The Delhi High Court has specific rules related to Practice in the Trial of Civil Suits, Jurisdiction, Valuation of Suits, Arbitration, Commissions and Letters of Request, Judgment and Decrees, Execution of Decrees, Witnesses-Civil Courts, Suits by or Against Persons in Military Service, etc.

Pay Scale – Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade pay of Rs. 4200

Eligibility:

Age criteria – For the post of Personal Assistant the lower age limit is 18 years and upper age limit is 27 years.

Qualification – The candidate must have done Graduation. The candidates must be good in shorthand with speed of not less than 100 w.p.m and typing with speed of 40 w.p.m on computer. The candidates must have computer proficiency.
