Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) was set up in 1957 for recruiting people for Government services. TNPSC is also involved in conducting department examinations; advising Government regarding recruitment rules, appointments, promotions and transfers; and conducting examinations in order to admit candidates to Rashtriya Indian Military College located in Dehra Dun.

Tamilnadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Commerical Tax Officer.

Pay Scale –  Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade pay of Rs. 4800

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 yrs and the maximum age limit is 30 yrs. In the case of candidates falling under the categories of destitute windows belonging to any caste, BCM, BC(OCCM), MBC/DC, ST, SC(A) and SC the maximum age limit is 35 years. For people with degree in Law, the upper age limit is 32 yrs.

Eligible interested candidates can obtain the OMR application form from selected Head post offices or Sub-Post Offices in Tamilnadu/ Puducherry and Alagapuram Post Office, Sivaganga on payment of Rs.30, or obtain the application form from the sales counter of the office of the TNPSC, No.1, Greams Road, Commerical Tax Annexe Building, Chennai -600006.
