Profile:

High Court of Uttarakhand was established on November 9, 2000 under the Government of India. The court was established under the Uttar Pradesh Re-organsisation Act, 2000 after the state became an isolated entity from the state Uttar Pradesh. Initially the strength of the sanctioned judge at the time of creation of the High Court of Uttarakhand was only 7 but later it was increased to 9 in the year 2003. Mr. J.S. Khehar is the current Chief Justice of the High Court of Uttarakhand.

Candidates can apply for the direct recruitment of Personal Assistants in High Court of Uttarakhand depending on their educational qualification.

Eligibility:

Candidates should be in between 21 to 35 years of age as on 1 July 2010. Relaxation in age for reserved category as per rules.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from any recognized institute or university is required for applying for the post of Personal Assistant in High Court of Uttarakhand.

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4200 is the prescribed salary for the selected candidates.
