UCO Bank has called for online applications from eligible candidates for the position of Probationary Officers and here are the details regarding the notification issued by the bank in this regard:
Name of the Vacancy: Probationary Officers (JMGS-I)
Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 1100, which is divided among the different categories of candidates as given below:
• SC – 163
• ST – 83
• OBC – 286
• General – 568
Out of these 1100 vacancies, 12 vacancies are reserved for OH candidates, 11 for VI candidates and 12 for HI candidates.
Pay scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Probationary Officers, will be coming under the pay of Rs. 14500 – 600/7 – 18700 – 700/2 – 20100 -800/7 – 25700 and other admissible allowances according to bank rules.
Eligibility requirements:
Education: As on the 1st of July 2011, candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline with at least 55% of marks. Percentage of marks required in the qualifying examination for reserved category candidates is 50%. Candidates belonging to general category should possess an IBPS CWE Score of 136, which is 126 for reserved category candidates.

Selection Procedure:

Application fee:
Cost of application is Rs.200 for all candidates inclusive of OBC candidates, while it is Rs.50 for reserved category candidates. The fee should be paid in cash at any branches of UCO Bank by taking a printout of the challan that can be obtained from the website of the bank at http://www.ucobank.com/default.htm and on payment of fee candidates will get a Deposit Journal Number generated from the system of bank. Fee can be paid by candidates from the 27th of February 2012 to 17th of March 2012.

Candidates will have to apply online through the website of bank at http://www.ucobank.com/default.htm from 27th of February 2012 to 17th of March 2012. Application must be submitted only through online mode.
