Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology has an urban campus and was established in Bhubaneshwar. The university was established in the year 1962. Professor D. P. Ray is the Vice Chancellor of the university. The university is affiliated to ICAR, University Grants Commission. The university is considered as the second oldest agricultural university present in the country. The university mainly aims to perform research activities in the field of agriculture. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for making recruitment on the following teaching positions of Professor, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology. The teaching positions are available in the College of Forestry of OUAT, Bhubaneshwar. The vacancies are available in the Department of Forestry Biology and Tree Improvement, Forest Product and Utilization, natural Resource Management and Forest Policy and Law.

1. Recruitment of Professor:
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in concerned discipline with atleast 10 years of experience in teaching or research field is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in concerned discipline with atleast 5 years of experience in teaching or research field is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8000.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. Degree in concerned discipline with atleast 55% marks in aggregate. Candidates should also have cleared National Eligibility Test.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

Application Fee:

The amount of application fee must be paid through the means of a Bank Draft. The bank draft should be drawn in favour of Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar payable at State Bank of India, OUAT Campus Branch, Bhubaneswar - 751003.

For the post of Professor: The amount of application fee for the post of Professor is Rs. 500 only.
For the post of Assistant Professor: The amount of application fee for the post of Professor is Rs. 300 only.
For the post of Associate Professor: The amount of application fee for the post of Professor is Rs. 400 only.

Selection Process:

The final selection of eligible candidates will be made only on the basis of the merit list prepared after the Personal Interview Test.
