Central University of Bihar was founded under an Act of Parliament. The university comes under the control of Government of India. The main idea behind its establihsment was to educate and develop human resources for the development of the country. Establishing linkages with industries for the promotion of sceince and technology is another important funtion of the university. The university is operating from its camp office, at present. Professor Janak Pandey is the current vice chancellor of the university. The university offers various academic programs to its students.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible indian nationals for the following faculty positions at the levels of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in Central University of Bihar. The recruitments of candidates will be made only on contract basis.

Application Fee:

General and OBC categories candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 300 in the form of a bank draft drawn in favour of “Central University of Bihar” payable at Patna (Bihar), India. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 150 only. Separate application along with separate Demand Draft must be submitted if a candidate wants to apply for more than one post.
