Job Profile:

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research is looking forward to recruit eligible and qualified candidates for filling up the following faculty vacant posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. The vacancies are available in the disciplines or departments of Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Humanities, Computer Science, Earth and Environmental Science, Mathematics, Physical Sciences and Social Sciences (Economics, English and Psychology).

1. Recruitment of Professor:
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have done Ph.D. degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates should also possess excellent academic record throughout at the preceeding degree. Minimum 10 years of experience is required in the field of teaching or research of which atleast 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10500.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have done Ph.D. degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates should also possess excellent academic record throughout at the preceeding degree. Minimum 6 years of experience is required in the field of teaching or research of which atleast 4 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9500.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have done Ph.D. degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates should also possess excellent academic record throughout at the preceeding degree. Minimum 3 years of post doctoral experience is also required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8000.

4. Recruitment of Assistant Professor (on Contract):
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have done Ph.D. degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates should also possess excellent academic record throughout at the preceeding degree.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

Selection Process:

Eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their application, for the Interview test with the selection committee. The final selections will be made only on the basis of canddiate’s performance in the interview test. Interested candidates are advised to prepare well for the interview test as only their good perfomance can get them selected in Indian Institute of Science Education and Research.
