Jamia Hamdard was establised in the year 1989 under Government of India. The university is affiliated to University Grants Commission. The university has an urban campus located at New Delhi, India. Saiyid Hamid is the Chancellor of the university while Dr. Ghulam Nabi Qazi is the Vice Chancellor of the university. The university was awarded with the status of Deemed University by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in the same year of its establishment. Educational Qualification: Candidates should be an eminent scholar with Ph.D. degree in relevant discpline from a recognized institute. Candidates should have a good academic record throughout with minimum 10 years experience in teaching or research field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

Post of Associate Professor are available in the disciplines of Food Technology & Nutrigenomics and Chemistry.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:

Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to have minimum 60% marks in aggregate at Master’s degree level in the relevant discipline. Minimum 8 years experience in teaching or research field is also required to be possessed by the candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have done Master’s degree in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Candidates should also have cleared the National Eligibility Test under University Grants Commission, CSIR.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 7600.

4. Recruitment of University Librarian:

Selection Process:
