Rani Channamma University was established in the year 2010 under the Government of Karnataka. The university actually came into existence through its official Gazette Notification No. SAMVYASHAE 22 SHASHANA 2010, Bangalore. Initially the university was named Karnataka University Kittur Rani Channamma Post Graduate Centre. The university offers approximately nine post graduate courses at present. The university also provides or offers M.Phil and Ph.D. programmes as well. The infrastructure of the university includes an administrative block, academic building, staff quarters etc.

Rani Channamma University is looking forward to recruit eligible and qualified candidates for filling up the following vacant faculty positions of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. The posts are available in the Post Graduate Departments in the Schools at Vidyasangama, Belagavi and Rani Channamma University, Vachansangama Post Graduate Centre, Bijapur. Vacancies are in School of Languages, School of Business & Economics, School of Social Sciences, School of Mathematics & Computing Sciences, School of Applied Sciences, School of Education, School of Criminology & Criminal Justice. Candidates who are residing in abroad are also eligible to apply for the following positions:

1. Recruitment of Professor:
No. of posts: Only 10 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
No. of posts: Only 20 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: Only 39 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

Eligibility Conditions:

Candidates are required to have the prescribed educational qualification and other eligibility conditions as per the UGC norms as revised from time to time.

Application Fee:

For the post of Professor and Associate Professor: Candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 200 alongwith Rs. 1000 as processing fee (Only General and OBC categories candidates). SC/ST candidates are required to submit only 50% of the processing fee alongwith the application fee.

For the post of Assistant Professor: Candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 200 alongwith Rs. 600 as processing fee (Only General and OBC categories candidates). SC/ST candidates are required to submit only 50% of the processing fee alongwith the application fee.

Fee is need to be paid by the means of Demand Draft only. The Demand draft are required to be made in favour of Finance Officer, Rani Channamma University, Belagavi payable at Belagavi.
