Gautam Buddha University was incorporated in the year 2008 under Government of India. The university is a government owned university located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is the Chancellor of the university. Retired IAS officer, S. R. Lakha is the Vice Chancellor of the university. The university has an urban campus spreaded in an area of 511 acres. The university is funded by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority and the Greater Noida IUnsutrial Development Authority. The university was established by the Uttar Pradesh Act (9) of 2002.

Gautam Buddha University invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up the following faculty positions of Professor, Associate professor and Assistant Professor and also for the non teaching position of Senior Scientific Officer. The faculty positions are available in School of Management, School of Vocational Studies & Applied Sciences, School of Humanities & Social Sciences, School of Biotechnology, School of Law, Justice and Governance and School of Buddhist Studies & Civilization.

1. Recruitment of Professor:
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Ph.D. degree with atleast 60% marks in aggregate in the appropriate branch with a good academic record throughout. Candidates are also need to possess minimum of 10 years in teaching or research.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10500.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Ph.D. degree with atleast 60% marks in aggregate in the appropriate branch with a good academic record throughout. Candidates are also need to possess minimum of 8 years in teaching or research.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9500.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Ph.D. degree with atleast 60% marks in aggregate in the appropriate branch with a good academic record throughout. Candidates are also need to possess minimum of 3 years in teaching or research.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8000.

4. Recruitment of Senior Scientific Officer:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess M.E. or M.Tech from a recognized university with atleast 4 years of experience in the relevant area.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.
