PS College stands for Panchayat Samiti College and this college came into existence in the year 1990 and the college is affiliated to the North Orissa University.  Initially the college was temporarily affiliated to the university and later in the year 2002, the college earned permanent affiliation from the university. It is an aided institution offering courses in the faculties of arts, science and commerce.

Admission marks required:

For seeking admission to the degree courses offered by PS College, candidates must have completed their higher secondary in appropriate field of education. For science group, they must have secured not less than 45% of aggregate marks at the higher secondary science stream of education (39% for SC and ST candidates). For arts group, candidates must have passed in their higher secondary arts stream examination.

College library:

PS College has separate libraries for +2 and degree students and in the case of +2 library there is a collection of nearly 3800 books, 270 reference books and three journals, while in degree library there is a collection of 3400 books, 150 reference books and three journals. The library at the college serves as the perfect source for the development of knowledge ability of the candidates.

Infrastructure:

PS College offers several infrastructural facilities like anti-ragging cell, four computer labs, grievance redressal cell, hostel, common room for boys, common room for girls and common room for staff members.
