Rajarambapu Institute of Technology was previously called as College of Engineering, Sakharale and the institution came into existence in the year 1983. The college is located near Islampur at a distance of about 7 kms from the Pethnaka off Pune-Bangalore highway. Intake Capacity:

Shivaji University has permitted Rajarambapu Institute of Technology to admit 60 students per year per branch for all branches offered at the UG level except for Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering course, for which the intake capacity is 120 students per year. For all branches of engineering at the PG level, the capacity of the institute is to admit 18 students per year per course. As far as MBA course is concerned, the institute is permitted to admit 120 students per year.

The application should accompany copies of school leaving certificate, domicile certificate, CET/AIEEE scorecard, HSC/12th mark list, 10th/SSC mark list.
