A new milestone was added to the arena of Women’s education in the state of Rajasthan, when the Rajasthan Mahila Teachers’ Training College was established in the year 1985. The college is affiliated to Mohan Lal Sukhadia University located at Udaipur and in addition to offering teacher training education, the college is also offering education in the faculties of science and arts.

Intake capacity for teacher training courses:

Initially, when the college began its operations, its intake capacity was just 60 students for B. Ed course, but now the intake capacity of the college for this course is 180 students and for M. Ed course, the intake capacity is 25 students.

Admission Procedure:

Rajasthan Mahila Teachers’ Training College admits students based on their performance in the state merit in the pre-test organized by any one of the universities in the state of Rajasthan and the university should be an institution approved by the government of Rajasthan.

College activities:

The college arranges for an educational tour every year so as to enable the students attending the college from other parts of the country to explore the state of Rajasthan and its neighboring states. It is also organizing different cultural activities every week so as to enable the students to get an overall development. The college arranges for guest lectures from eminent scholars with the view of offering deep knowledge to the students in their area of study.
