Rajiv Academy of Pharmacy located at Mathura in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh is a premier institution for pharmacy education in the state and the institute came into existence in the year 1999. The institute was established with the objective of offering quality pharmaceutical education and the institution has earned approval from the AICTE, Pharmacy Council of India and it is affiliated to the Uttar Pradesh Technical University. Right from its inception, the institute has been offering quality education at the UG and at the PG level.

Here are some of the details regarding these three courses offered by the Rajiv Academy of Pharmacy:

Bachelor of Pharmacy:

The Bachelor of Pharmacy course offered by the Rajiv Academy of Pharmacy extends to a period of four years divided into two semesters per year thereby making a total of eight semesters and the course curriculum includes industrial tour as well in addition to classroom and laboratory training.

Master of Pharmacy:

The Master of Pharmacy course offered by the institute extends to a period of two years divided into two semesters per year thereby making four semesters and this is applicable for both specializations of Master of Pharmacy course.

Laboratories at the institute:

The Department of Pharmaceutics functioning under the Rajiv Academy of Pharmacy has three pharmaceutical labs for the UG candidates namely industrial pharmacy lab, Physical Pharmacy Lab and Pharmaceutics Lab. The labs at the institute are well-equipped with chemicals, glasswares and equipment needed for carrying out experimentation work according to the syllabus prescribed for the Bachelor of Pharmacy course. In addition to these labs, the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Rajiv Academy of Pharmacy has Pharmaceutical Analysis lab, pharmaceutical chemistry lab, medicinal chemistry lab and pharmaceutical chemistry lab for Master of Pharmacy course. In addition to labs related to pharmacy education, the institute also has a computer lab for offering basic computer knowledge to the students of the college.
