There are many options for higher studies in zoology. Some of them are M.Sc in Applied Zoology, M.Sc in Zoology (Honors.), M.Sc in Zoology, M.Phil in Life Science, MBA, M.Phil in Zoology, PG Diploma in Life Science, Ph.D in Zoology, etc. There are many opportunities in both public and private sector for the zoology candidates. They can appear for various government exams like PSC, UPSC, SSC, public sector bank exams, etc. A few employment areas for these candidates are Medical laboratories, Colleges, Wild life rehabilitation centers, Hospitals, Environmental agencies, Pharmaceutical companies, Agricultural firms, etc. The zoology candidates can work as technical writer, environmental consultant, zookeeper, biology teacher, animal caretaker, research technician, etc. For higher studies, these graduates require at least 55% marks in the qualifying exam.

If you are interested in BCA, then here is the eligibility criteria: The minimum educational qualification required to get admission in BCA is a pass in 12th with at least 50% marks. Most of the colleges need either maths or computer as one of the subjects in 12th and also english as a compulsory subject. You can do BCA in either regular or correspondence. You are eligible for both. The best colleges where you can pursue BCA course are listed below: Satya Institute of Media and Management ,Lucknow Indian Institute of Management & Commerece (IIMC) ,Hyderabad Acharya Institute of Management and Sciences (AIMS) ,Bangalore Prestige Institute of Management and Research ,Indore Apeejay Institute of Management ,Jalandhar Aryans Group of Colleges (AGC) ,Chandigarh JK Business School (JKBS) ,Gurgaon Indian Academy Group of Institutions ,Bangalore IndraPrastha College of Management and Technology (ICMT) ,Jodhpur Lovely Professional University ,Jalandhar Management and Commerce Institute of Global Synergy ,Ajmer |

Re: Will I get admission in BCA in regular full time college after passing 12th from NIOS? Should I opt for part time university?
Hi I have a cousin, the following is his query...
I completed my 12 the 4 years back. Do to lack of guidance , I didn't apply for a bachelor's degree in any university. Now I have narrowed down to two courses: BCA and Bsc IT. I wanted to know if I should apply for a distance course and pick up a job or join full time BCA OR BSC IT... What would be better for me in terms of future prospects? |

Re: Will I get admission in BCA in regular full time college after passing 12th from NIOS? Should I opt for part time university?
Yes, you can get admission in a regular full-time college for a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) program after passing 12th from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). Many colleges and universities accept NIOS qualifications for admission, including BCA programs.
It's important to note that admission requirements can vary between institutions, and some colleges may have specific criteria or eligibility criteria for NIOS students. It is recommended to check the admission policies of the colleges you are interested in to ensure they accept NIOS qualifications and to familiarize yourself with any additional requirements they may have. Opting for a part-time university is a personal decision that depends on your circumstances, preferences, and goals. Part-time universities often offer flexible schedules and allow you to work while pursuing your degree. This option can be beneficial if you need to balance work or other commitments alongside your studies. However, it's important to consider the potential impact on your learning experience, networking opportunities, and the overall duration of the program. |
