Company profile: CIL is a navaratna PSU. It has a large work force of about 4.2 lakh employees. It is the largest coal producing company of the country. The main functions of this organization are pricing and distribution of coal, R&D activities, foreign collaboration, coordination with ministry of coal and other ministries etc.

Job profile: A candidate as will be required to manage and execute the activities of the respective department. A manager will also be required to bring out necessary planning and changes. The focus would be on maintaining and building healthy public relations.

Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 37 years for the post of manager (grade E4) and 34 years for the post of an officer (grade E3). However, relaxation can be claimed by reserved categories.

Educational Qualifications: A candidate must have a Master’s degree in journalism/mass communication/public relations and must have an experience in the relevant field.

Pay Scale: The managers will be given a pat scale of Rs29100-54500 and the officers will be given a pay scale of Rs24900-50500 plus other usual allowances.

Selection procedure: The selection will be purely on the basis of the qualifications and post qualification work experience. The candidates will be short listed and then they will be called for the interviews.
