Sailors for Artificer Apprentice (AA) - 131st Batch, The Indian Navy
The Indian Navy is also known as the blue water navy. This is the naval branch of the armed forces of India. There are approximatley 56 thousand personnel employed in this armed forces with 5 thousand in the naval aviation branch, 12 hundred marine commandos and 1 thousand sagar prahari bal. Indian Navy is the fifth largest navy of the world in terms of the personnel. The primary objective of the navy is to secure national maritime borders of the country. One of the another major functions of the navy is to enhance the international relations of the country through joint exercises.
Job Profile:
Applications are invited from eligible and unmarried male candidates for making recruitment as Sailors for Artificer Apprentice (AA) - 131st Batch in The Indian Navy. The course will be commencing from February 2012. Candidates should ensure their eligibility for the post before applying for it.
Eligibility:
Candidates should have been born between 31 Janury 1992 to 30 January 1995 (both dates inclusive). Reserved categories candidates may get relaxation in the upper age limit set for the post.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed 10+2 qualification or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsary subjects. Candidates should have Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science as one of the optional subjects. Candidates should have passed 10+2 qualification with atleast 55% marks in aggregate from any recognized institute or university.
No. of posts: Several positions are available.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed salary of Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000. The additional amounts of Rs. 2000 as MSP will also be provided to the candidates alongwith the X group Pay Rs. 1400 plus allowances.
Application Fee:
No application fee is need to be submitted by the interested candidates for applying on the specified positions in Indian Navy.
Selection Process:
Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the merit position in written examination and physical fitness test. Only successfull candidates of the written examination, will be allowed to appear in the physical fitness test. Candidates are advised to prepare well for the written as well as physical fitness test.
How to apply: Application forms in accordance with the other required certificates or testimonials should be sent through the ordinary post only. The envelope containing the enclosures should be superscribed with the type of entry, choice of centre and percentage of marks in 10+2. The envelope should be of white colour and also contains two self addressed envelops of size 22*10 cms with Rs. 10 stamp affixed.
