SAR in the name of SAR College of Architecture denotes Sunkara Appa Rao since the college was established by the Sunkara Appa Rao Educational Society with the objective of developing and promoting educational activity in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The college was founded in the year 2000 and it is recognized by the Council of Architecture. The college offers Architecture course at the UG level with affiliation from the Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University located in the city of Hyderabad.

Course details:

As mentioned earlier SAR College of Architecture offers UG course in Architecture (i.e.) B. Arch course. The duration of this course is five years and the minimum eligibility requirement for seeking admission to this course is that candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized university or board with mathematics as a subject. In addition, they must have secured a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

Admission Procedure:

Admission of students to the B. Arch course offered by SAR College of Architecture is done based on the NATA score of the candidates. NATA is nothing, but the National Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by the Council of Architecture for admission of students to the B. Arch course offered by colleges with approval from the Council of Architecture.
