Bank of Maharashtra has invited applications from eligible candidates for the position of Security Officer:

Name of the position: Security Officers

Number of Vacancies: 26 (15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC and 3% on horizon basis)

Pay Scale: MMGS Scale II pay scale applicable to the position of Security Officer is Rs.19400-700/1-20100-800/10-28100. Candidates are also eligible for other benefits like retirement benefits, medical aid, leave fare concession, house rent reimbursement and other perks.

Eligibility requirement:

Educational Qualification: For the position of security officer, candidates must be proficient in cyber security/cyber laws/information technology. Computer literacy and other qualifications suitable for bank administration will be an added advantage for recruitment of candidates.

Age requirement: Minimum age requirement is 25 years and maximum age requirement is 40 years as on the 31st of December 2010

Experience: Candidate must have minimum five years of experience of working as Commissioned Officer in Air Force/Navy/Army, inclusive of officers in para military forces and short service commission or a police officer not below the rank of DSP/ASP with five years of experience.

Selection procedure:

Candidates will have to appear for written test followed by interview for the position of Security Officer.
