Hi,
To become a custom officer, you will have to write Civil Services Examination conducted every year by UPSC. This exam provides entry into 27 different services which includes Indian Customs and Central Excise Services. The basic eligibility for this exam is graduation. So, take admission for graduation course in any good recognized college and concentrate on your studies keeping in mind that you have to appear for civil services examination after graduation. Hi,
Custom officer post is very challenging post. to become a coustom officer you should physically fit. To become Custom officer you have to complete you graduation. A candidate which completed graduation or final year of his graduation can apply for Custom officer exam. UPEC conducts civil service exam for various posts. custom officer exam also comes under civil service exam.for custom officer you have to apply for civil service exam. civil service exam is conducted in two phases first you have to apply for perliminary exam and then for Main exam. if you clear pre and main then you called for personal interview. this is the selection procedure of custom officer. In UPSC exam question related to Reasoning,G.K,Maths and English are asked. you have to prepare these question. civil service exam for this year is already completed for next year exam vist official website of UPSC- www.upsc.gov.in |

The function of a Custom Department is to control the import and export of goods with the purpose of collecting duty and maintain a check on the entry of prohibited and restricted goods. The custom officer ensures that smuggling does not take place. . >> Qualifying Examination :- In order to become a Custom Officer, the aspirant will have to appear for the Civil Services Examination. In order to become Custom Officer , you have to qualify civil service exam , which is conducted by UPSC every year . Educational Qualification : The minimum Qualification is Graduation with minimum 50% from recognized college . Age limit : 21- 27 years ( General Category) 21-30 years ( OBC) 21-32 years ( SC/ST) Selection Procedure : You need to sit for Combined Graduate Level Exam , and have to clear 1st stage , then 2nd stage , then interview round . CUSTOMS OFFICER:
For Customs officer you need to qualify Civil Services Exam conducted by UPSC. Customs officers mainly take care of import and Export materials. Eligibility criteria : You must have acquired a basic age of 19 years and A bachelor's degree with 55% marks from a recognized university.
