Graduates below 25 years of age can apply for IDBI ‘Executive’ post on contract basis. Selection of competent candidates is done on the basis of a written exam and interview. Reasoning, Numerical ability, and general English forms the syllabus of the written test. Applications can be forwarded through the official web portal of IDBI. Application fee payment can be done via branches of SBI/IDBI.

Selection Process for IDBI ‘Executive’ Recruitment Test

IDBI carry out the selection process on the basis of candidate’s performance in written exam and interview. Written exam is carried out in objective type format and comprises questions from the following topics.

  • Reasoning
  • Working English Language
  • Quantitative Aptitude

Personal interview is conducted for those candidates who have qualified the written exam. The number of applicants called for interview is up to the decision of the bank. Such candidates are called for medical examination on the same day or next day of interview. Those who score above the cut off marks, both in written exam and interview, will be shortlisted and their names will be included in the final list. They must be medically fit, and must satisfy all necessary eligibility norms as prescribed by the bank.

Application Procedure for IDBI ‘Executive’ Recruitment

Applications can be submitted online through the official web portal of the bank, www.idbi.com. As the first step of application process, candidates should go to the concerned link for recruitment notification. Then they must take a print out of the entire application form including fee challan. This fee challan form must be filled up clearly in block letters. Using this, applicant can make their fee payment through any of the branches of State Bank of India or IDBI.

Candidates who have remitted the application fee successfully will be issued with a counterfoil. This counterfoil will contain the following details.

  • Branch Name of Bank
  • Code Number of Bank
  • Transaction ID or Journal Number
  • Date of Deposit
  • Amount Deposited

Before applying online, candidates should be ready with a scanned copy of digital photograph and signature. Other than this, they must possess a valid e-mail ID also. Those without a valid email ID should create a new ID before starting the application process.

After making necessary arrangements, candidates can revisit the bank’s official site to submit filled up applications through online. Eligible candidates who have submitted the applications successfully will be acknowledged through email. Date and venue of examination are also intimated via email. Hall ticket for attending the exam can be collected from the official portal of IDBI bank.
