Canter for Development of Advance Computing was established under the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication & Information Technology as a premier R&D organization. The major function of this organization is to carry out the R&D in IT, Electronics etc. The major objective behind the establishment of the organization was to built supercomputers in context of denail of import of supercomputers by United States of America. The organization was set up in the year 1984 and has its head office located in Pune. Other offices of the organization are located in diffferent states of the country.

Job Profile:

Canter for Development of Advance Computing is inviting applications from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the following vacant S&T and Non S&T posts (Senior Technical Assistant, Technical Assistant, Senior Assistant and Assistant). The centre is actually making a special recruitment drive for the reserved categories candidates such as SC/ST/OBC etc. Those candidates, who will get selected, are going to be recruited at C-DAC centres located at Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram and Noida.

1. Recruitment of Senior Technical Assistant (For OBC and SC candidates):
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 38 years as on 31 January 2012.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Besides this, candidate should also possess minimum 6 years experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.

2. Recruitment of Technical Assistant (For OBC and PH candidates):
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 31 January 2012.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Besides this, candidate should also possess minimum 3 years experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

3. Recruitment of Senior Assistant/ Personal Assistant (For OBC and PH candidates):
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 31 January 2012.
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline or equivalent alongwith one year certificate course in Computers. Besides this, candidate should also possess minimum 11 years working experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

4. Recruitment of Assistant (For OBC candidates):
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 31 January 2012.
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline or equivalent alongwith minimum six month’s certificate course in Computers. Besides this, candidate should also possess minimum 7 years working experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2800.

Selection Process:

A interview test is the only stage which comprises the Selection Process. Only shortlisted candidates will be allowed to appear in the interview test. Candidates are required to bring their detailed resume alongwith the attested copies of certificates, at the time of interview test. Candidates failing to produce the documents will not be allowed to appear for the interview test under any special circumstances.
