Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Rajasthan came into existence in the year 2008 under Government of India. The institute functions under the control of MHRD. The institute was incorporated as a public university. The institute has an urban campus spreaded in an area of approximately 900 acres. The institute is considered amongst the eight new Indian Institute of Technolgy (IITs) which have been functioning from year 2008 onwards. At present, Mr. Prem K. Kalra is working on the position of chairman of the institute. The first academic session in the institute was commenced in the month of August, 2008.

Job Profile:

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Rajasthan is inviting applications from eligible candidates for filling up the following vacant positions of Senior Technician, Junior Technician, Junior Technician Laboratory Assistant and Junior Assistant.

1. Recruitment of Senior Technician:
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit for the post is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: B.Tech or B.E. with atleast 60% marks in aggregate and atleast one year of experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2800.

2. Recruitment of Junior Technician:
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit for the post is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: B.Tech or B.E. with atleast 60% marks in aggregate and atleast one year of experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.

3. Recruitment of Junior Technician Laboratory Assistant:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit for the post is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with atleast 60% marks in aggregate and atleast one year of experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.

4. Recruitment of Junior Assistant:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit for the post is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with atleast 60% marks in aggregate and atleast one year of experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.

Interested candidates (Only General and OBC categories candidates) should submit the prescribed amount of application for applying on any of the above specified posts. SC/ST/PH candidates are not required to submit any kind of application fee at all. The payment of the requisite application fee is need to be done by the means of a non refundable demand draft of Rs. 100. Also the demand draft is need to be drawn in the favour of The Director, Indian Institute of Technology Rajasthan payable at Jodhpur.
