State Health Society, Bihar was established under the National Rural Health Mission, Government of India. The society was incorporated with the aim of providing guidance to its functionaries towards the management for the funds of Minsitry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. All the functions of the society are performed under the administrative control of Government of India. Management of the different NGO or PPP components of the National Rural Health Mission present in state of Bihar, is also one of the major function performed by the society. Mr. Sanjay Kumar is the Executive Director of the society.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the following vacant positions of Staff Nurse, Counsellor, Data Entry Operator and Care Co-ordinator in State Health Society, Bihar. Selected candidates will be recruited in various district hospitales under National Programme for Prevention & Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Diseases and Stroke programme. Candidates will be recruited purely on contractual basis only for a period of minimum one year. The contract period may be renewed every year based on the performance of the candidates.

1. Recruitment of Staff Nurse:
No. of posts: Only 24 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates must have age less than 40 years as on 1 January 2012.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 20000 per month.

2. Recruitment of Counsellor:
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates must have age less than 40 years as on 1 January 2012.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 12000 per month.

3. Recruitment of Data Entry Operator:
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates must have age less than 30 years as on 1 January 2012.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 10000 per month.

4. Recruitment of Care Co-ordinator:
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates must have age less than 30 years as on 1 January 2012.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 6000 per month.

Application Fee:

Candidates are required to submit an application fee of the prescribed amount before applying for any of the specified posts. The application fee must be paid through a bank draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank. The bank draft should be drawn in favour of State Health Society, Bihar payable at Patna only.

Amount of application fee for General candidates: Rs. 500 only.
Amount of application fee for Backward Class/ EBC candidates: Rs. 300 only.
Amount of application fee for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes candidates: Rs. 250 only.
