Admissions:

UG Courses:

Admission of students (except NRI) is governed by the Gujarat Professional Medical Educational Colleges and Institutions Act 2007 as notified by the Health and Family Welfare Department of Gujarat Government through a government gazette dated 26th of May 2009. When it comes to admission of students under NRI category, the number of seats under this category is restricted to 15% of total intake capacity of the institution, which is also governed according to the policies laid by the Gujarat Professional Medical Educational Colleges and Institutions Act 2007. Admission of students to the PG courses offered by SMIMER is according to the rules and regulations of the affiliating university and the Medical Council of India.

Students’ counseling cell at SMIMER:

The counseling cell at the institution is involved in the welfare of the students. Even though the cell is concerned with the betterment of educational performance of the students by coping up the stress during their studies, it is also involved in the identification of non-educational talents of the students and to make them excel in that field in addition to education. The cell aims at offering necessary solutions to the problems of the students and the students are encouraged to take part in health care activities.
