Syllabus for RRB Technician GR III Diesel (Mechanical) Written Test
Candidates with matriculation as the basic qualification and having completed Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic from any Industrial training institutes approved by NCVT/SCVT can apply for Technician GR III Diesel (Mechanical) position in Railways. Selection to the position is done through a written test conducted by Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). Syllabus for the written exam comprises questions to test the Technical Ability, Arithmetic Ability, General Intelligence, etc of the candidate.

Candidates can expect diploma level questions in the written test. There will be objective type multiple choice questions. Questions will be asked from topics such as

Apart from these, candidates can expect questions from basic Mathematics, algebra, trigonometry and data interpretation in Numerical ability. Questions will be asked to evaluate candidate’s command over written communication skill and English Language. In addition to this, there will be questions from logical and verbal reasoning. General awareness section will contain questions from current affairs with special focus on Indian railways and general knowledge.
