IRCON International Limited is an Government of India owned company which comes under the Companies Act, 1956. The company was established in the year 1976 under the Indian Railway Construction Company Limited. The company was initially registered as a private limited company. The company was mainly incorporated for the purpose of construction of Railway Projects in India as well as abroad. The first ever project undertaken by the company was to revive a multibillion dollar rail project for Malaysia. Mozambique Ports and Railways is one of the customer of the company.

Job Profile:

IRCON International Limited invites application from young and professional individuals for the posts of Diesel Technician and Electric Fitter. The appointment of the candidates will be made strictly on regular basis under various projects undertaken by the company. Candidates will be placed anywhere in India depending on the projects or offices of the company.

Eligibility:

Diesel Technician: Candidates should have been born after 1 April 1971. SC/ST candidates are required to be born after 1 April 1966. OBC categories candidates should have been bornb after 1 April 1968.

Electric Fitter: Candidates should have been born after 1 April 1971. OBC categories candidates should have been born after 1 April 1968.

The upper age limit is relaxable to some extent for the candidates working in any Government or PSUs.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to have done Matric with ITI or equivalent in the field of Mechanic Diesel Trade/ Automobile Trade/ Mechanic (Fitter) Trade, for applying on the post of Diesel Technician in IRCON International Limited. Candidates, who are applying for the post of Electric Fitter, should possess Matric with ITI or equivalent in Electric/ Electronics/ Power Circuits & Control. Candidates are also required to have atleast 10 years of experience in maintenance of Diesel or Petrol Engines and Electric Equipments.

No. of posts: Total 20 posts are available.

Diesel Technician: 15 posts (General-8, OBC-4, SC-2 and ST-1).
Electric Fitter: 5 posts (General-4 and OBC-1).

Pay Scale:

Diesel Technician: Consolidated salary of Rs. 8500-17000 per month.
Electric Fitter: Consolidated salary of Rs. 7500-15000 per month.

Application Fee:

A non refundable demand draft of Rs. 300 is need to be submitted as registration amount and examination fee by General and OBC categories candidates. SC/ST/EX-SM candidates are required to submit a demand draft of Rs. 50 only. The demand draft must be made in favour of IRCON International Limited payable at New Delhi.
