Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR is the main launch centre of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). The SDSC SHAR processes solid propellant motors and conducts ground tests. The first flight-test of’Rohini-125′ took place from SDSC SHAR in the tear 1971.

The SDSC SHAR is expanding its facilities to meet the growing needs of ISRO.

Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), A.P invites application from eligible candidates for the posts of Technician-B, Cook, and Heavy & Light Vehicle Drivers.

No. of posts: Technician-B (Fitter) - 2, Technician-B (Machinist) -1, Technician-B (Electrical) -2, Technician-B (refrigeration & Air Conditioning) -3, Technician-B (Pump Operator-cum-Mechanic/ Fitter) -2, Technician-B (Diesel Mechanic) -1, Technician-B (Electronic Mechanic) -1, Cook -1, Heavy Vehicle Driver-A - 4, Light Vehicle Driver-A - 8

Pay Scale – Technician-B - Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2000 with emoluments of Rs. 12270; Cook and Driver - Rs. 5200 - 20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 1900 with emoluments of Rs. 11210.

Eligibility:

Age criteria: The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 35 years for all the posts.

Educational Qualification and experience – Technician-B: The candidates must have passed in SSLC/SSC and must have done ITI/NTC/NAC in relevant trade; Cook: The candidates must have passed in SSLC/SSC and must have 5 years experience; Heavy Vehicle Driver: The candidates must have passed in SSLC/SSC and must have 3-5 years experience with valid heavy vehicle driving  license; Light Vehicle Driver: The candidates must have passed in SSLC/SSC and must have 3 years experience with valid light vehicle driving  license.

Selection Process:

The selection of the post is through written test/practical test/interview.
