General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, and Biological sciences are the main topics covered under the syllabus of Assistant Grade (Technical) Exam. The exam is conducted by SSC on behalf of Food Corporation of India. B.Sc degree holders in any of the areas of Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, Biotechnology, or Agriculture are eligible to attend the exam. B.Tech./BE degree holders in Food Science/Agricultural Engineering can also attend the test.

Exam Pattern

FCI Assistant Grade Exam for Technical cadre comprises of two papers. Those who pass in Paper-I will be short listed for writing Paper II. The pattern of the Paper I is as follows
