Secondary School Leaving Certificate or SSLC exams are held thrice a year for the benefit of the students. The previous years’ question papers may be a little difficult to get from the internet. However, you can avail of them from the school or the official website of the Directorate of Government Examinations.

Paper 2 is again a 125 paper which the student expected to complete in three hours. The first part is an objective type question carrying one mark for each question. There is no negative marking on the paper. There are a total of 50 questions like these. All the objective questions will be provided with four alternatives. A student is expected to simply click on the correct alternative.

Part 2 mainly comprises of 28 questions carrying marks ranging from 1-5. Poetry, prose and all the relevant topics from the prevalent syllabus is included in the descriptive questions. You may also be asked to write an essay, a letter or a story.

There is no limit to the number of attempts one can use to write these examinations. However, there is an eligibility criterion of 14 years to start giving the exam. There is a special concession for students with disabilities and underprivileged ones.
