The centre has been identified as the nodal agency for the maintenance and creation of Natural Resource Information for the state government.

Andhra Pradesh State Remote Sensing Applications Centre has called for online applications from eligible candidates for various positions to work for one of its projects called Space  Based Information Support for Decentralized Planning (SIS-DP) and here are the details regarding the notification issued in this respect.

Name of the Vacancies: Team Leader (GIS), Team Leader (Land Use/Land Cover), Senior Resource Analyst (Land Use/Land Cover)

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 28, which is divided among the different positions mentioned above as given below:

• Team Leader (GIS) - 10

• Team Leader (Land Use/Land Cover) - 06

• Senior Resource Analyst (Land Use/Land Cover) - 12

Terms of employment: Appointment will be purely on contract basis and the position is purely temporary in nature.
