Institute profile: The national institute of design came into existence in the year 1961. It is an autonomous institute. It is one of the premier institutes of design. It provides training, research and services in industrial designing and visual communication. The main aim is to design and resolve complex problems of the industry and adapt to the latest trends.
Job profile: The candidates will be required to work in different departments like accounts, administration etc. They will be initially trainees for 18 months and after that they will be working as officers and managing the various activities of their departments.
Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 35 years. However, relaxation can be claimed.
Educational Qualifications: For a Trainee Officer (establishment/administration) – A candidate must have a professional degree in law/administration/management with a minimum of 1-2 years in the relevant field. A candidate must also have knowledge of computers. For Trainee Office (Accounts) – A candidate must have a degree in M.Com or MBA with specialization in finance and accounts with a minimum of 1-2 years experience.

Pay scale: The candidates will be given a fixed stipend of Rs8000 in their training period and it will be incremented after they complete their training successfully.
Selection process: The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their educational qualifications and experience and then they might be called for a written test/interview as decided by the institute.
