Company profile: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited popularly known as HAL is one of the Navaratna units of India. It has 19 production centres and 9 R&D centres spread across the country. Its areas of work are repair, maintenance, design, production and up gradation of aircrafts, helicopters, turbines, aero engines etc.
Job profile: The trainees will be initially in the learning process. They will be later responsible for working in different areas like electrical and electronic systems, mechanical design, heat treatment, production etc.
Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 28 years. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: A candidate must have a 3 years regular diploma in mechanical/ electrical and electronics/heat treatment engineering from a recognized university.
No. of posts: There are 20 posts in total out of which 8 are for electrical and electronics trainee, 9 for mechanical trainee and 3 for heat treatment trainee.
Pay scale: The candidates will initially be on training for which they will get a stipend of Rs10500 plus CCA of Rs300 plus an accommodation allowance of Rs2200.
Selection process: The candidates will have to undergo a written/practical test (wherever required) followed by an interview for the qualifying candidates.
How to apply: The candidates are required to apply as per the format given on the website. The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs100 in the form of a DD drawn in the favor of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited payable at Bangalore. The candidates are also required to send the copies of their supporting certificates along with the application. All the applications must be sent to The Chief Manager (HR), Overhaul Division, HAL, Bangalore Complex, Post Box No. 1786, Bangalore – 560017
