Paper Description:

To get full knowledge about the Statistics-OR paper, one should have to keep the proper knowledge of problems of probability and statistics. The paper deals with probability sampling, gamma distribution, Chi-square distribution, basics of queue and concept of likelihood function etc.

Paper Pattern:

The entire questions of University of Hyderabad-Ph.D (Statistics-OR) Entrance Exam Paper are distributed into two different parts, A and B respectively. Part ‘A’ consists of multiple type questions whereas part ‘B’ contains long and tricky questions. The maximum numbers of questions present in the first part is 25 and each question consists of 1 marks. The second part holds 10 questions out of which five are compulsory to answer. Each question of this part consists of 10 marks.
